The following text is taken verbatim from a single enclosure of a song-poem solicitation mailing. The envelope is postmarked June 27, 1996, while the code "579" at the bottom of the testimonial page indicates that the same sheet has been in use for over 17 consecutive years. For privacy reasons, I have chosen to withhold the customers' names.
But Don't Take Our Word For It.

Thank you for the fine job you did with my "ELVIS" song. It's filled with all the love, warmth and sadness that I felt when writing the words.
It has been a real joy working with you and I like the honesty with which you treated every question that needed to be answered.
I am delighted with the fine professional job you and your staff have done in writing music to my lyrics. I am looking forward to collaborating with you again. With the fine quality of your writing I can tell I will have success with the songs.
I must express my appreciation for providing the melody for my hymn entitled "TAKE UP YOUR CROSS". The music and the vocal were beautiful and extremely well done. I owe you my gratitude and best wishes. I feel I am very lucky to be associated with you.
The "Demo Record" of my song "Life Is A Ride On A Merry-Go-Round" is excellent, as were the others you have done for me. Thank you again, and my thanks to Mel Moore. I'm now looking forward to the next three you are working on for me.
Very Sincerely Yours,
I just received my record. I am very pleased with it as every verse has a special meaning. I think the music is fit for a king. The music has all the feeling that I was hoping it would have. Thank you, I think you are the best.
I would like to say that you did a beautiful job on my music: I love it -- You were able to capture the exact meaning of my poem and set it to the music as I hoped you would.
I have received my copy of my record, "GIVE THANKS AND PRAISES" and am quite satisfied.
I believe it is your generosity that has caused showers of blessings on you to make you the largest of your kind in the United States of America, and perhaps even the world.
A special thanks to those directly involved in the production of the records, Paul Ames and the others.
I received my records of my song a short time ago. I must sincerely congratulate you on a masterful job. I am pleased with the whole arrangement, records, vocalist and orchestra. I couldn't have done a better job myself. The record was played on WDAF and WHB radio stations and the both of them said the same -- they said that it had so many requests until it would be impossible to answer so many requests for one reason. I must say in closing, as one neighbor to another, you have done us proud.
I received the copies of my song "Let Me See You Dance" and I must say "Right On! Right On! You have made my heart's desire become a reality. Thank you.
When I saw the music sheets with my words it really brought tears of joy to my eyes. I will recommend you to all who ask.
Thank you, thank you
Words cannot express the deep feeling I felt the moment I heard my words set to music and sung so beautifully.
Thank you for a job well done.
Thank you for the wonderful job you did on my songs. I heard them all and love everyone of them. Thank you again for the beautiful music.
Many thanks for the lead sheets of my lyric 'SOLDIER BOY". You have done a wonderful job of work and managed to capture the complete feeling of the words.
I am writing to let you know that I received the lead sheets of my song "IN LOVE". My wife and I were both pleased with the way you composed music to my poem.
I want to thank you for the good job you and your staff did on my song.
